WHO:听The Education Association of Pekin (EAP) is hosting a 鈥淪tuff the Bus鈥� event to help collect school supplies for Pekin Public School District 108 students in need.
WHEN:听EAP members will collect donations on Sun., Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and again on Sat., Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Donation bins will also be available in Walmart all week,Aug. 3 to 9.

NOTE:听 District 108 supports 3,100 students, 66% of whom live below the poverty line. Students need to have the right tools for school so they can focus on learning. Without the proper supplies, students鈥� performances are negatively impacted.
The EAP represents the teachers, paraprofessionals, secretaries and other educational support personnel of District 108.
